Over the years so many Christian couples have shared with us their despair over fertility issues. They have come up with many reasons why God may have chosen for them to struggle with having children. Most often we hear them say that God must not want them to become parents. Some say that God has left them and others wander confused about why they have to experience infertility instead of the people that abuse their children or those that didn't want to become pregnant. We want for couples to see God's bigger picture.

The Bible tells us in Romans 8:28 that, We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Everything that happens in our lives, every experience we have molds us into who we are. Separate tones, notes and even discords are required to compose melodious musical anthems. One note from an anthem may never be considered beautiful but taken together, combined and completed they lead to perfect harmony. The anthem that God is creating from your life may not be complete without your current struggle to become a parent. He may need for you to one day minister to others going through similar trials. He may use your situation as testimony for others who see you remain faithful and committed to the Lord during hard times. He may need you to witness to someone that you would not have met had you not been in fertility clinics or support groups. There is a reason and our prayer is that you discover it.

Use your current circumstances to become closer to the Lord. Demonstrate your faithfulness to Him. The moments between your true, desperate need and when God acts are the truest test of faith. Thank Him in advance for the work He is doing is in your life.
