Thank you for your interest in the Surrogate Parenting Center of Texas Egg Donor Program. We work with fertility patients, egg donors and physicians from across the country. We accept donors from every state in the nation.

Technology is advanced and offers infertile couples a great deal of hope but none of this is possible without the special women offering to become egg donors. The generosity and compassion of each egg donor is truly appreciated by our staff and the recipient couples that we represent.

Our couples are not attempting to find a "perfect" donor. They are searching for a donor that resembles them in physical appearance, background, hobbies, interests and personality. They want to match the characteristics of the wife as closely as possible. This is why we attempt to recruit a wide range of donors.

The infertile couples looking to choose a donor have been on a long and emotional road to parenthood. They have exhausted every other avenue prior to joining our program. Due to the enormous amount of hope that the couples have placed in this process we ask that only dependable, responsible and genuinely caring women apply.

Please read through the information enclosed and make sure that you meet the requirements and can fulfill the obligations necessary. When completing the application be as thorough as possible. Return the completed application to the address listed above. We will notify you of the status of your application by either U.S. mail or e-mail.

You must meet all the requirements in order to participate in the program.

1.Must be between 21 and 30 years of age.

2.Must be Height/Weight proportionate.

3.Must be a non-smoker and in overall good health.

4.Must be free of all sexually transmitted diseases.

5.Must not be adopted. (If you are adopted and have FULL medical and genetic history on your biological mother and father we can review your application).

6.Must not have a Norplant birth control device within the last 12 months. Must not have taken Depo birth control injections with in the last 9 months. It is okay to be on birth control pills!!

7.Must be willing to administer medications by injection (instruction is provided from a nurse).

8.Must be willing to undergo psychological testing with an agency psychologist.

9.Must be willing to undergo a physical with our selected Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologists.

Make sure you have completed the following before mailing your application.

1.Enclose a recent and clear photo of yourself. We would love for you to include family photos of parents, siblings, your children or yourself as a child. On the back of the photos, please list your name and identify the people in the picture.

2.Enclose a copy of your driver's license and medical insurance card (if applicable).

3.Make sure your application is complete!!! If you are unsure of some family information (example: age or cause of death) find out before you send your application.

4.Make sure you meet the "general requirements" listed in this packet.
