1) Send application to SPCT.

2) Sign contract with SPCT outlining process and responsibilities of parties.

3) Homestudy (if you do not already have one that meets all standards) and criminal background check.

4) Discuss in more detail with an SPCT case manager what type of long term relationship, if any, you desire with the embryo donor couple. Discuss preferences of potential embryo donors and address other questions or concerns you may have.

5) Review embryo donor profiles as they become available.

6) Have your SPCT case manager arrange matching when you have found a profile that you may be interested in.

7) All arrangements vary but most have all parties meet on a first name basis initially. SPCT will facilitate this meeting. The purpose is for the adoptive and donor couples to become comfortable with the match.

8) Contract between adoptive and donor couple.

9) Shipping of embryos to adoptive parent¡¦s clinic for transfer.
Each arrangement will vary slightly depending on desires of adoptive and donor couples.
